Default wadwe boot re-soles

HELLO ALL,
this is a question that now seems to be a very common topic now on the forum. to felt or not to felt......or PAY THE PRICE! now i am the biggest non evasive species fan there is, but, owning two relatively new pairs of "top end" felt soled boots, here lies the question.
does any one have any idea, link, or anything about re-soleling felt wading boots?

You can buy new felts for boots, but regardless of the 'simple instructions' they're a total pain to put on properly. When you hit the point you need to 're-sole,' take the boots to a shoe maker and let him/her do the job.

If your boots are Simms, you can check the Simms website and they have a link showing where you can get the felt soles replaced with new rubber soles, and what the costs will be.

Thumbs down Re: wadwe boot re-soles

Hate to sound like a told-you-so salesman for Korkers (which I'm not), but if you had their models with the interchangeable soles, you could get new soles in whatever configuration you wanted - felt, Aquastealth, Kling-On, etc., all with or without studs - for much less than the prices being quoted here for new soles.
