High water Deerfield

I was back in the East this week and tried to fish the Deerfield in the Zoar area. They have had lots of rain for weeks so the dams are realeasing constantly. High and Clear. Very tough fishing. Gave it up and fished the Cold and it was very good. we had a couple of relative newbies with us and all caught fish on dries. not too big-largest at 14" but lots of small brookies and medium rainbows. Nice little river.
