Places for good fly fishing in NE CT

So I have a friend who wants to get into fly fishing and I told her we could go when I get back from school this summer. I need some areas that are easy to get to and stocked for the most part. I can teach her the basics of casting at home but it would be good to actually get her out there.

Areas around Mystic, Stonington, Groton, New London etc..

You'll get some basic knowledge from the Anglers Guide you'll receive when you get your licenses.
But you find far better information in the TU publication, Trout Streams of Eastern Connecticut.
Don't forget about the world class saltwater opportunities either.
