Default what's going on in NE?

As I'm sitting down here in Mexico in 100 degree/90% humidity weather I am holding my new bamboo 4-5 wgt and wondering what's going on back East, especially on the Deerfield. Anybody fishing?
Incidentally, the rod I mentioned was made by a long time hobbiest in New Hampshire. It is a two piece 7'2" and very nicely done. I traded a 1949 stationary farm engine that I had for years for it. Good deal in my mind. It casts well, looks great but while I am living and working here it will regrettably get little use. Great to look at though....
