Vermont bans felt

Noticed someone mentioned it in another thread.

Vermont Fish & Wildlife

My one an only encounter with F&W in the past 20 years on a river was last Saturday morning. Left my gear in the truck and had just walked the banks of the NB Lamoille to check on water levels (still too high and murky) and F&W stopped, asked for my license and checked my waders.

They obviously aren't fooling around.

So far I have never seen a F&W officer while fishing. I don't even know what their uniform looks like.

Simms doing an about turn on their new catalogue; and re, introducing felt soled boots! How much damage has the use of felt soled wading boots done to the environment? Would anyone know?

i saw that too, really disapointing and it delays me buying new wading boots, but on the otherhand, i have a place on the battenkill that is litterally on the border, so as long as i fish on the NY side i guess im fine?

I see them all the time in Vermont
One time on the West River and a second time on the White I was told by the CO that they always stop and check when they see out-of-state plates
