Callicoon Creek

So far I've fished the Beaverkill, Willow, Esopus and the Neversink near Woodburne. The Neversink- too many houses around- I sort of like a more woodsie type surrounding, and hence my question.
The Callicoon Creek. It is written up in some of the classic literature and I've been thinking about fishing it a day when I pass through the area HOWEVER today it may be a far different stream from yester-year. Those of you who have fished there- how did you like it? Are the banks lined with forest or are there a lot of houses in the area?
AND, while in the area I was thinking a second day in Neversink Gorge. I'll post that separately.
