If there is anyone willing to give me any tips on fishing the Midcoast region I'd appreciate it. And if there is anyone that would possibly want to meet up sometime that would AMAZING, since I'm gonna be pretty much clueless out in a new area and fishing new species to me... Thanks guys!

Hey Crohnie are you going to fish salt or freshwater/ Maine has awesome fishing in both. I usually fish fresh while I am there im in the forks/greenville/rockwood area which has unbelievable trout and salmon fishing. Grand Falls on the Dead River is now a trophy landlock salmon fishery. Ive caught salmon over 25'' right under a waterfall. Brassua dam if you hit it right you can catch a big brookie or a 20''+ salmon practically every cast> You got to match the hatch tho that is the trick. You picked a great state to live in and you will love the fishing. Just be sure to learn the double haul and roll cast you will need it for sure!!!!
