Default Anyone fish Branch Lake near Bangor, Maine?

I'll be staying at a friend's camp on Branch Lake near Bangor in two weeks and was curious if anyone had any information on the fishing conditions up there. I think we'll have access to a couple of canoes/kayaks so we won't be shore bound - Google turns up some old information about smallmouth fishing, anyone have up to date information/fly ideas for fishing Branch Lake?
