Default Recent Pulaski trip

Me and some coworkers recently made a trip to Pulaski (4hrs away) 2 days ago. A lot more successful at salmon fishing than steelhead fishing, but there's always next year. We're looking to make it an annual trip

Cabelas (wind river I believe, the cheap model) 9ft 8wt. Had a stretch of 15lb flourocarbon as a leader and used a variety of egg patterns we've tied

There was one guy there hammering steelhead on the fly, over near the ball park. Great guy gave us some tips and helped show us his set up and explained the creek to us. But maybe I'll have to make a November trip. Today we hit Erie for steelhead, real rainy and 60+ mph wind gusts made the fly rough to use
