Default winter tailwaters

below the windsor dam on RT 9 in belchertown, MA
big rainbows that are hard to catch, browns that are harder catch and clear water, the perfect winter fix for us that our local streams are iced over.

Re: winter tailwaters

I was by the Deerfield over Christmas....this was just like when I learned to scuba and thought the North Shore diving was great. Then, I discovered warm water. Anyway, right after Christmas I quickly beat it back to the Sea of Cortez. Will be out ther trying from shore sunday I think. In my shorts. And a t-shirt.

as Larry the Cable Guy says "God please forgive me for that" but I just could not help it.
