Well, all I have to say is GO BUCKS BAGS!

I ordered oarlocks, grips and rubber stops (just like yours Frank) on Saturday - site said 3 to 5 business days shipping (cause I'm cheap).

They were here when I got home today - now that to me is pretty fast shipping!.

Checked yesterday and the frame is indeed aluminum.

The outer casing on the pontoon feels like a PVC football - really thick stuff doubt it will tear easily.

Like I said before, the toon is in great shape, zippers all work, straps show no wear, toons hold air without pressure drop - 3 days now no decrease in pressure.

I put a rope around the thickest part of the toon and then measured it - 56 inches around. huge puppies!

Now I just gotta get her in the water!

OK, cause I am proud of the work my sons and I did, and since I posted the pic on the last entry of the fish I caught from her.

Here is a pic of my restored 1957 Crestliner Commodore Speedster - this is the boat I paid $150.00 for and my sons (7 and 17) and I restored it last summer:

When I bought her she was mostly stripped on the outside, but full of light blue house paint (brushed on) internally - My wife thought I was nuts.

Interesting I now have 2 boats and I paid $150 for each of them - hmmm hope the toon makes me as happy as the crestliner.
