Default Homemade Lanyard

Got bored the other night so I made this up in about 3 hours watching Big Fish. Made it for a friend going on a fly fishing trip to Colorado and since I'm not going to get the chance this year to go myself I thought that I would send a little piece of me so that I can say I was there in a round about way.

Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Terry

Looks nice. However, it might have been cheaper just to buy one.

Cool. When you get out there with your Fly Fishing buddies with all those LURES around your neck....should be interesting. Great idea however. What about the break away?
I have a wine cork on my lanyard for drying flies. Guided some gentlemen from a wine distributor and he noticed the cork. At the end of the day, he gave me $50. and a 12 yr old bottle of wine for a tip.
Maybe someone will give you a spinning outfit LOL. heheheheheh

Hey Folks,
I appreciate the comments. No use for conventional tackle other than this in my opinion. To Fly is the only way to go!!!

Joni, the breakaway is surgical tubing connecting the the two braided cords. Should work pretty good. Heres a picture I'm not sure if you can tell but I have a wine cork that I put my flies on after I finish tying them up. I was trying to come up with a way to connect a cork to the lanyard for that very reason but it was late and my little brain was shutting down. How did you connect your wine corks to you lanyard?
