Default Newbie waders question....

I am in the market for a set of chest waders. My budget is a max of $150.00. My problem is that I am short and fat!!! I am 5'10" and 300lbs. I wear a size 10 1/2 shoe. Everything that I have found that fits my middle has HUGE feet and everything that fits my feet has a TINY middle. Any suggestions on a brand that might cater to us clydesdales?

I bought a pair of BassPro waist high breathables. You have to watch how deep you get in some places....but they are alot more comfortable for a less trim build. They were on sale as part of the spring fishing sale at BassPro...but even off sale...they would be well under your budget.

Simms does custom work but it's above the number you posted.

Above the number I posted is quite an understatement when you are talking about Simms!! To help some other large fly fishers, I have found 2 sources for waders that might help. BigCamo.com has Columbia waders up to size 6X at $169.00. William (The Fridge) Perry is their spokesman!!! I found some Frogg Toggs at Gander Mountain that I bought today for $129.00...They fit me darn near perfectly and I kept my wife happy by keeping them well under my alotted amount.
Thanks for all of the advice.

Hi Sam,

I always have trouble because of height, please post back to the thread when you make a selection to share your results, OK?

Ard,
I bought the Frogg Toggs waders. I will be going fishing this Friday and will post a response here over the weekend with my thoughts on them.
