Simms Guide Vest ??

Had some OT on this check and treated myself with a Simms Guide vest. I think I will like it a lot, definitely a step up for me. Looking for your experiences with this vest.

Thanks

I bougth a simms guide vest in 1997, or 98. Best vest i ever had. She is still going strong. I have tried pack's chest and hip. I always go back to the simms.Storage is great, biult strong and is pretty easy on the shoulders if worn for a long time.I just pack it a little light now with just what i need. You will love it.

Re: Simms Guide Vest ??

I wish there were drains in the bottom pockets, they hold water really good. That's my only complaint. Took awhile to get use to that vest, my old vest was longer and hung down lower. When I get in deep water the bottom pockets get water in them. My so called waterproof flybox leaks and gets water in it so i had to get another flybox. It's a quality vest that is built to last, thats what I want in my flyfishing gear.
