Question Patagonia Wading boots

Has anyone tried or bought the new Patagonia Wading boots with the aluminim bars on them? Did you like them? Do you think they are worth the $200.00 price tag?

Check out my thoughts on the new Ultralight Wading boots, mine are not the ones with the aluminum bars.

Where are you fishing? What I know of the aluminum bars is that for some people they are ideal, but others they are overkill.

I mainly fish in the Provo River in Utah although I do take some trips to Idaho for Steelhead on the Salmon river near Ellis. I hope to be getting out more so they will get a lot of use. I currently use felt bottoms but I understand that there some places that are banning them so I was considering a switch. I am replacing a pair of 15 year old Hodgmans as they are literally falling apart at this point.
