Beautiful country out west glad I made the trek to fish and visit family.

You just me miss Oregon even more. Only nine more years left in this high desert, then I'll be wetting my flies in the Great Northwet again.

Wonderful photos. Looks like a great time was had by all.

Great photos, thanks for sharing! I didn't realize that Oregon had scorpians. I lived there as a kid and don't recall ever seeing any, but I still get the chills thinking about the rattlers.

Same here on the Scorpions. Those little buggers give me the 'willies'

The Columbia River Gorge is beautiful, and it's amazing how freakin big the Columbia is.

The Beer bottle pics reminded me that a friend of mine had 'Arrogant *******' once when he was in the area, he said it was really, really good. I'm guessing you liked it too?

The Wedding Dinner, well I'm gonna be quiet because it looks great and I'm starving at the moment. lol

Thanks for sharing Flygal, looks like a great time.

The beer was delish and I found out that I can get the Arrogant *******- Stone Brewery locally....Yipeeee - I go for really dark stuff, love porters and stouts.

It looks like I have a VERY healthy apatite with the wedding food shot, I was getting food for my handicapped niece as well and I'm the kind who likes to get into line once - lazy woman's load. Food was fantastic, that beef was local and organic. A member of the family's biz....Good Eats!

The scorpion I almost stepped on when we were at one of the stops along the Columbia Gorge viewing road. It skittered under a portable drink cart and I jumped up on a bench 4ft away with some rather colorful profanity fly out at the same time (what the F)....

I'm not use to seeing something that size move the way it did and the movement freaked me. The guy behind the drink cart lifted his legs as well

One of the workers said it probably hitched a ride with someone and got off there.
