Default Fishing near Wrightwood, Ca ?

Hi everyone - great forum and resource here!

I live in the SF Bay Area and heading to Wrightwood for a few days at the end of Aug or early Sept and was wondering about decent fishing opportunities there? I'm looking for;

a: Easy access so I can slip away for a few hours and
b; Have a hall pass for a full day so perhaps somewhere needing a good hike in.

Last question - is there anywhere near there where I could find Golden Trout or do I need to head North of there?

Many thanks in advance,

Contact Ken or one of the guys at Fishermen's Spot out of Van Nuys. They are a friendly bunch who have great fishing knowledge. The shop's phone number is (818) 785-7306.

As for Golden Trout, you may need to head north of Wrightwood.
