When your ready to hit the lower yuba, give me a pm, id be happy to show you around, I live about 15-20 minutes away. When the river is in shape I hit it at least once a week. Jason

Here is a link for Yuba River flows. The important flow rates are from Smartsville and Deer Creek. Add those two together, and you will get the flow rate for that area until it hits Daguerre Point Dam. Ideal flows are between 900 and 1500 cfs.

As of today, the river is flowing around 2400 cfs. The flows are high, but they are fishable. You won't be able to cross certain sections of the river.

If I was going to fish up there today, I would start at the Sycamore Ranch Park access then work my way up to the top end of Hammond Grove. It is pretty much nymph fishing.

If you have a drift boat, the river is very fishable.
