Default Northern Cal trip

I am heading up again. Monday July 2nd I will arrive in Dunsmuir well before the evening session hopefully, and stay at Cave Springs. Then I intend to hike/backpack the Pacific Crest Trail from 5 to the McCrowd and cast into the streams along the way. I'll camp a night or two at Lah Di Dah then head back.
Any advice is welcome and if anybody wants to join me either in Dunsmuir, or the other places let me know.

Enjoy the trip Noiso! I'd love to join, but the commute from Sweden is lengthy! I'll enjoy your trip via the pictures, I suppose!

There have been man-bear-pig sightings in that region. Be careful!

Seriously, enjoy yourself.

Well expect more man/bear/pig sightings as I will be walking around there for a bit.
I've been to Lah Di Dah many times - never seen the fabled bears eating fruit in the orchard, just very big deer and a rattler or two. Feral pigs?
