Feather River Salmon?
 
Any one have any success catching any on a fly yet? I have been out twice and because the water is really high cant find decent spots to cast a fly and try to get a hook up........


Feel free to post if you have been on a successful trip this year...

I used to fish the Feather for salmon years ago.

Without giving too much information up, drive the dirt road on the west side of the wildlife area. You should find places to park the car and hike the bank.

No worries I know exactly what your talking about :D This is my first year back with a fly rod since 2005. I did some gear fishing last night close to the outlet and got one but he was able to get away at the shore. Was a blast to have the rod bent again :)

I want to get my new Sage 10wt bent a little now hehehe. Thanks a bunch for info Dennis!!!
