With the drought the water was shut off on this stream it's going to be a long year we need water bad

It was a bummer that they shut the flows off so quickly but a good number of the stranded fish were saved thankfully. I went up there in the afternoon after they shut the flows off and I only saw one dead whitefish. I know a few others died but because of a few diehard guys a lot were saved. I drove by Boca and Stampede afterwards and saw how badly we need rain. I've never seen either reservoir that low. Praying to the rain gods

With no cold water in storage to cool the Klamath/Trinity this is almost a sure thing for this year.
