Nice monster. I actually like catching the lure size fish :icon_lol: They seem to put up a great arial show.

Hi, I'm from Vancouver Island, Canada and I have never seen a trout those colors before. As mcnerney said beautiful . I don't know the type of trout it is though.

Had to chuckle, all be it a great photo. Post up on the 'Mother Board' in the UK and that sized fish is the norm for much of their stream fishing. Part that tickles me is the Hatchery Steelhead/Salmon going into a river are larger than .....

Rainbow with parr marks, the marks go away as the fish matures.

That is also the norm for trout here in Silicon Valley/SF bay. It is sad yet amazing the little natives survive in such stressed water.
