Belatedly just read your request - an excellent guide is in "Backroad Mapbook" (see www.backoadmapbooks.com) This gives both maps and a write up of various venues and what can be caught. I have visited yearly BC over the past 5 years to fish and I have found it invaluable. Choose the one for your area to be visited - there are a lot! I have achieved my dream of catching chinook, coho, steelheads, cut-throats, browns and of course rainbows - but unlike the UK these are all natural wild fish. BC is heaven to me. I shall be there again (god willing) in August 2011.
