2005 marks the fifth straight year I have hosted trips to Pine Point Lodge in British Columbia.
The lodge is located on Nimpo Lake, near Tweedsmuir Provincial Park, in west central BC amidst some of the most spectacular scenery in North America. The lodge features lakeside log cabins with full baths. The food is always great and hard fighting Rainbow Trout are only a few feet out the door of your cabin.
I have one cabin (maximum of two people) left for the July 8-13, 2005 trip. This trip offers fly outs for big Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden, Cutthroat Trout, Steelhead and Bull Trout on a variety of crystal clear, remote rivers and lakes. The trip also features a drive out trip to Lisard Lake, which offers some of the brightest colored Rainbows I have ever seen. This is the peak dry fly time of the year. Temperatures in mid July in the Chilcotin District of BC usually range from a low in the 30’s to a high in the mid 70’s.
There are two packages available for July.
Package 1 is $2549 and features two float plane fly out trips.
Package 2 is $2799 and features three fly out trips.
We often see Mountain Goats, Moose, Caribou, Black Bears and numerous species of birds on this trip.
Both trips are 6 days/ 5 nights and include round trip airfare from Vancouver, private log cabin, all meals, guide fees, a drive out trip to Lisard Lake and unlimited use of watercraft on Nimpo Lake.
The first Fall Salmon trip sold out quickly, so we have added a second Salmon trip from September 20-25, 2005. There are 7 spaces left for this trip.
Price is $2549.00 for 6 days/ 5 nights and includes round trip airfare from Vancouver, private log cabin, all meals, guide fees, two days fishing for Coho Salmon, Pink Salmon and Dolly Varden while surrounded by spectacular scenery in Tweedsmuir Provincial Park. A floatplane fly out trip to Hotnarko Lake for Rainbow/Steelhead Hybrids. A one day drive out trip to Lisard Lake for Rainbow Trout and unlimited use of watercraft on Nimpo Lake.
We often see Grizzly Bears, Black Bears, Moose and numerous bird species on the fall trip.
All packages do not include airfare to Vancouver, fishing licenses, tips, liquor or taxes.
We always have a nice time touring Vancouver before and after the trips to the lodge.
