I would recommend getting ahold of either Duranglers or Andy Kim- 505-334-0909. Johnny Gomez would be my first choice, but he doesn't seem to be guiding on the river any more. He used to guide for Abe's, and they might be able to tell you about him. Abe's site www.sanjuanriver.com

I'd rather hunt fish than bait deer any day.

For a guide on the San Juan river, or in the mountains around Durango, allow me to recommend myself; Don Oliver. I can be reached at 800-634-4811 or www.donoliverfishingguide.com. Give me a call, I'd love to visit with you.

Good fishing,
Don Oliver

I have fished with Don Oliver many times. He is an excellent guide and a fun guy to be around. Don is certainly a dry fly fanatic and you will be too after spending a day with him. I would definitley recommend Don as guide on the San Juan as well as any stream in the Durango area.
