I'm lucky enough to be fishing Vermejo Park Ranch for several days starting next weekend, and was wondering what sort of flies are likely to be fishing well there this time of year (I'm guessing terrestrials on streams, but maybe not on lakes)? Also, any suggestions for rod/line weights, leader sizes, etc., and any "hot spots" there?

Thanks in advance,

hoppers, hoppers, and...of course...hoppers on the streams. lakes in that area fish well fish copper johns, caddis emergers, damsel nymphs and dries. but i never hit stillwater without some wooly buggers.

Thanks for the fly recommendations, Ken. Any thoughts on size ranges? I'm so used to fishing tailwaters that I've lost all perspective on flies larger than those 22x-plus tiny midges and nymphs I use there.
