Default Colorado - Gunnison Area questions

A few questions for the Colorado experts.

Leaving on Friday and hope to fish Sunday Wednesday next week.

Im planning on wade fishing in the general area of Gunnison (Telluride Leadville). No set plans so we will head towards the best fishing.

Two questions:

a. Any recommendations on rivers that may be more productive this time of year that I can access wading?

b. What would you recommend as far as flies (Hoppers, nymphs, etc.)

I plan on hitting all the fly shops but always like to bring a few items with me. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated and thanks for all your help over the last 4 weeks.
