Gorge Lakes - Arrowhead Lake, Rocky Mtn NP

Hello all

I am planning a two night trip into the Gorge Lakes in mid August. I am hiking out of the Milner Pass TH and already have my reservation booked for Little Rock campsite.

I have a few questions for the group of guys that have done this trip and posted about it in this section. About 3-6 months ago, I remember seeing a post about the lakes, but have looked back aways but could not locate the post.

My questions are: How big is the campsite? Does it have a tentpad big enough for one 3-person tent? How close is it to water? Do any other lakes other than Arrowhead hold fish? Is there a trail blazed all the way to the lakes and/or how much off trail hiking is there? What month did y'all hike in.....i.e. how bad were the skeeters when you there?
