The Gunnison River 3/6/10
Well I hit the Gunnison at about 8 am...caught a few fish, then a friend of mine who guides in Basalt comes up the bank.....and he says ....whatcha using? I showed him my rig....and of course he says.....Try this......a very small midge he calls the dryer lint.....it's what it looks like....and a midge with a bit of chenille off the back on top and it was on.....25 fish day to the hand.....countless LDR's I couldn't have had a better day......biggest Bow...19"...biggest Brown....20"...now you know my problem with cameras.....I took about 10 pics of the biggest.....but my camera goes all distorted when it needs fresh batteries....needless to say....I am picless..... I was sooo mad....the Bow almost looked like a cutbow.....the colors were incredible.....Spring is in the air......
