My favorite fishing of all is small mountain streams.
I can fish all day and still want more.

Just curious what is the avg size fish you get out of there. Don't worry I am not a trophy hunter I regularly fish where a 11" Brookie or Brown is a big one.

I will take seclusion and small fish over chasing bigger fish encumbered by idiots.

Oh a good brookie from here would be 12".
I agree on the smaller fish for less idiots!

Yes...however, Hot Creek is one of the most technical waters in California:

Hot Creek Flyfishing Ranch, reservations, rates, flyfishing conditions,guide service in and around Mammoth Lakes.

Beautiful little stream ! Reminds me of that little stream that comes out of Redfish Lake and flows into the Salmon River near Stanley, Id.
