Default San Juan River Redemption

Crittergetter (Kris) sent me some photos of his recent trip to the San Juan River. We fished there together a couple years ago and had a lot of fun despite the fact that Kris was having an issue with his drag adjustment on his reel which caused some break offs on the larger fish. This time around was a different story (redemption was had) where he only lost one fish out of approx. 20 hook ups. After seeing those beautiful fish I wish I had been there!

Larry, that's wonderful. Seems like your outing redeemed my lost there last summer. Good job.

Thanks Larry for posting....

The pic's look great full size rather than my camera on my phone..

I had a picture of a 20" CutBow that was georgous. What a wonderful looking fish. Unfortunately, the SIM got wiped when I tried to read it with the wrong reader. I hope to recover it from a friend.

FYI... I usually pooopoooed SIMS for their cost. After the day was over I still was "Jacked Up" so I rented a pair of SIMS Waiders and boots from Float N Fish and wade fished for nearly 2 1/2 hours. MAN!!!! they are nice... I now have a new item for Santa to bring me for Christmas.

Hate to say it but $69 Cabela's neopremes don't hold a candle to the $300 sims. Of course the checking account is lighter also.

Kris
