Default Bitterroot river to flood stage.

This I can easily believe; this storm went over my head (here in southern Oregon) about 36 hours ago. It was off the charts; over 500 lightning strikes within 50 air miles of Medford. Rogue river added over 25 percent in cfs' in less than two hours.

Rain expected to push Bitterroot River, streams close to flood levels

Just read a e-mail from the 'ex' who lives there ... the weather is delightful. Another forecast where the writer didn't look out the window? Not to mention the 10 day forecast: http://ravallirepublic.com/app/weather/ In THE SAME NEWSPAPER!

The hot weather, however, has some rivers exceptionally high for this early in the spring. The Yellowstone is up around 8000 cfs this evening.

Default Re: Bitterroot river to flood stage.

The river is as high last few days as it was first part of June last year.... Fishing was good till about 10 days ago.... I get a good look at the river daily as it is about a full 8 iron from my kitchen window and as of this morning, it looks more like the Mississippi rather than the river we usually see.

The feeder creeks near us have come down a bit and cleared as well so hopefully we will see an improvement soon...
