Gotta agree with the post above. Outstanding thread. Lots of great information. Got my mouth watering for some RMNP Greenbacks. I'll have to make a trip asap to see if there aint some for me.

Just got back from two days at RMNP. Wind kept me off the lakes, but had a great time fishing for eager Brook Trout on Colorado River (Little more than a creek here. Albeit, and mind-blowingly beautiful one.)

Spent most of my time where the river runs through Coyote Valley. It's a very accessible area in the west side of RNMP, but easy enough to hike a short distance and feel "away." Dry-dropper rigs did the trick all day long.

Best part for me though... My four year old daughter tagged along. She got to see (and partially reel in) her first trout in a landscape that some people never get to see in a lifetime. (Check out the pics below.)

God damn, I love fishing!
