Dry flies.

Checkout this thread by Eric (bighorn flies):
May 17th on the Bighorn

Also do an advanced search on threads by bighorn flies, he has posted numerous patterns that work up there.

Eric used to guide on the Bighorn, you might just give him a call, he is a really nice guy and will help you out: 1-406-690-1688

Thanks guys. Last night at the Fishing Club tying class we practiced RS-2 in #20

I really didn't even think I could do one of those, but I did.

What about the RS-2 for the Bighorn?

.

Yes, the RS-2 will fish well on the Bighorn. You can fish it as a nymph or as a point fly in a dry/dropper arrangement keeping it in the surface film when you have fish up and feeding. You might also want to tie a few Sparkle Wing RS-2's. Print Sparkle Wing RS2
