Default Skunked today...I'm feeling sick..

I'm pretty sure that I might fall ill on Wednesday...the "scaley throat" as my co-worker calls it! Cough*

I had planned on a day of fishing today but got cut short with "stuff." It's too good right now, high yet clear water, hungry trout. I want to hit a special trib that's an hour away...yep...pretty sure I'll go to work tomorrow but be "ill" on Wednesday!"

Todays skunking left a bad smell on me. Tis the season for big trouts on streamers...

You should never post that kinda stuff on the internet; evidence.

I got on the water today, posted in the Spey fishing threads with a few pictures. Pretty bare out there, just took that little Cannon pocket camera along for the ride. We had a good time and came in safe.

Glad you got back safe Ard. Been looking at some recent Utube clips of ice break up on a couple of your rivers. Impressive to say the least!

Hey Dan! I have been thinking about cutty crick but there are no gauges on there so it would be a pure gamble to drive out there ... but I probably should. I was thinking about an even lesser fished river that is quite a bit further away.

Alas, it's been raining again and all the rivers are on a slow but steady rise. Rising water is not good for fishing. Rock Creek was actually rising yesterday while I was fishing, so I'm going to use that as my excuse!

I'll be going to work tomorrow, don't want to blow one of my last "hooky days" on marginal fishing in high water.
