Vallecito Lake
Fished Vallecito monday morning. What a gas! Got there around 6:30 and caught a couple small smallmouth on a popper. Drove to the campground and met my friend Buddy and we went to a different spot. We both caught 2-3 on poppers right away, all around a pound, then the topwater bite died. Went to black simi-seal leech and ended up catching another 20 or so up to 1.5lbs. Man those fish fight like mad. Great day, great company.
