I don't want to bore y'all to death with this fish, but there's one more picture you might find amusing. I love to show this picture to people who post up about having to practice those 90' casts before a bonefish trip. I point out that this is a pretty big bonefish and you can hardly see the thing from 4 feet away. Although I have seen a fish or two from far away, I more often spot them when they're 25 feet in front of me and scare the hell out of me.

Touche. haha. Where at in the gulf was that? i'll be there next year come spring/early summer and I wasnt planning to use wire, should I though?

near Navarre beach park... if blue fish present in water they eat all they see
better to have, just in case. unless of course you're not going to use 50 - 80 lb Leader

I always carry a few Bluefish flies with me. All synthetic material, with a 4" wire leader tied to the hook.

Like Swirlchaser I use synthetics plus the heads and any body is epoxied or I laquer the **** out of it. And even that doesn't always help with choppers!

Bummer, looks like i'll have ot bring alittle wire me just to be safe. I wont be too far down the beach from where he caught those fish. I recently just got excited that certain mackerals will come close to the beach, i cant wait to fish the ocean.
