Default Winter surf fishing IBSP

I can't believe that I haven't made it to Island Beach State Park this year! And record low temps outside, I don't think I'll make it at all!

Beautiful water, a fly rodders' paradise? Pretty good striper migration through Jan.

A friend of mine usually catches 10 to 15 small stripers with spin gear and Storm Shads:

While I usually catch 20 to 30 stripers with a fly rod and white streamers:
