Default Bob Pop Videos

If you've ever seen a presentation by Bob Popovics you know that he'd rather show his videos than talk.
And he has some pretty good video

WOW! Thats nuts. We call them elf or shad in South Africa. Do you find bleufish or stripers are more active certain times of day/night or are they completely prey driven?

Bluefish are the terror of the seas that they appear to be and nothing deters them, although they feed less at night.
Bluefish kill out of instinct and will eat until they're full, then puke it up and do it again. They have keen eyesight in and out of the water and will purposely defend themselves so keep your fingers clear

Stripers would rather feed under the cover of low light/darkness but make exceptions during the migration periods when they need to bulk up in the spring or to prepare for winter.
Mature stripers are opportunistic feeders, basically lazy and take advantage of the situation. Utilizing strong currents, ambushing from cover, stalking bait balls, or even letting the bluefish do the work and then cleaning up the leftovers
