Just wanted to say hi to all. I am a former and sometime still active saltwater fly fishing guide from the New Orleans area. If anyone needs info for this area let me know.

Hey Capt, welcome to the board. Glad you found us. What do you chase and how's the fishing been?

Got a bad case of the shack nasties and there's supposed to be snow on the way up here. Hope you're getting on the water and catching fish. At least one of us should be having fun.

Mark

We mostly sight fish for reds in skinny water from a flats boat and chase speckled trout once in a while. Our good red season is about over. Now we go back to fewer and smaller fish. No more 20 pounders for a while, but 6 to 8 pound fish are okay to especially when you have a bunch of em.

Captjp

Where are you located, do you have a web site?
I have never fly fished for reds, what is the season?
