Our group did well. Not our best but we managed to land 22 steelhead between the two creeks we fished. Landed 37 last Spring. Thinking of going the first weekend of April next year. Any suggestions...

Been fishing Chautuqua and Canadaway every Fall and Spring for a few years now and I would highly recommend either one. There is also Spring and Walnut creeks just East of the Canadaway with 18 Mile...

What if there were a butt cap/protector with a rounded groove incorporated, a "line keeper" if you will, that was perpindicular to the real. You could wrap your line backward into the groove and back...

Ha....just checked the forecast again and it now shows less rain around the 18th and 19th. Guess it is what it is and we'll just have to take what the fishing gods give us. Gonna tie some black hares...
