For your described targets I would go with a TICRX if you wanted to stay with TFO instead of the BVK. The TICRX has way more lifting power in the butt of the rod.

The lense descriptions on the Smith website has the info. Polarchromic Ignitor lenses are techlite glass. Additionally they have the Evolve insignia in the upper left corner. The Chromapop lenses...

Actually even though the polarchromic ignitor shows up in the chromapop advertising they are not chromapop. They are glass lens and they are photochromatic meaning they change tint with different...

In a word, yes. When the spool is removed from the reel there is a hole where the spool shaft goes into the drag assembly so moisture/debris can enter the anti-reverse bearing and the drag pieces.
