thanks for the kind words, guys! A couple years ago I hooked 3 fish on three casts with it (two brook trout and a landlocked) at Upper Dam in Maine. Made me a believer!

I do seem to go through a lot of silver pheasant capes (and thanks for the kind words, jaybo41!). It gets a lot of use on flies for atlantic salmon (which, by the way, often hook trout, too).

Yes, they are. I usually pre-dissolve them in hot water before adding to the bath proper.
