Re: Sunglasses

I sometimes think about trying Costa's simply because I'm a sucker for marketing and the 'buzz' about some products.
It's been about 12 years and my Maui Jim's just keep on working and working very...

Re: The Ultimate "FITW" Trout Flies Assortment

A pile of flies at less than .75 each along with a presentation box and smaller box for your vest...

Re: Newby casting dilema

I like this option best. You already have a leader nail knotted to your line so cut the leader off a few inches from the nail knot, put a perfection loop in the end and another in the end of the...

Re: Alaskans to D.C.: Stop Pebble Mine From Destroying 14,000 American Jobs

Like what? A post that is written from the head of a person who simply sees what is going on around him and who takes no marching orders from select 'news' sources who do nothing more than sing to...

Re: Yard Practice ?

Given the choice of not practicing because there is no water around or practicing on grass, I'll take the practice every time and any time I can squeeze it in.
I use the lines I'll fish with most...

Re: Alaskans to D.C.: Stop Pebble Mine From Destroying 14,000 American Jobs

True that, but did the echo chamber also inform you of how many refineries were closed 30-35 years ago to drive supply down and prices up? You may think that the oil companies have nothing but the...

Re: Name that Reel Game

Any chance of seeing the back side of a spool?
I like looking at the workmanship and design of reels no matter what they are. That reel of yours looks mighty spiffy, I just can't envision the parts...

Re: Finally, What a Day!

That picture looks like a spot I stood at 12-13 years ago while on a long road trip/vacation and landed my first landlocked.
Is that the Connecticut by any chance?
Nice fish and report. Thanks for...

Re: Evolution of an Angler

There appears to be different levels of how this sport is done. Anywhere from kiliing every fish caught to not fishing (or fishing like my pal Eddie who gets the same results as not fishing!)
I can...
