I've still not seen many side by side comparisons of the Rio low stretch lines vs the standard Rio lines. Anyone make the switch yet? I need a new WF5 for my Hardy Zenith and like the Rio Gold. ...

Re: Somerset Fly Fishing Show 2015 Tackle Observations

At this show are there any "deals" on any of the new products or is it more to just see and touch them? Just curious.

Re: Hatch 4 Plus Finatic...My put it up for sale, then again...

Re: Hatch 4 Plus Finatic on Scott S4 6wt

I think you will love it. If you hate it you can have zero problem selling it on ebay. It amazes me how close to retail used hatch reels go for. I'm trying to buy a 7+ on ebay and can't find one...

Re: Old reel hard to seat on new Hardy rod

When I first got my Zenith I had a Lamson Konic on it and the feet didn't really fit. I just had to sort of wedge it in there. Looks like the perfect excuse to "upgrade" your reel.

I just booked a United Flight and planned to take an Orvis rod case as you described. I may need to reconsider now... or just go for it... or pack it all in luggage...

Re: Which hatch reels?

I watch ebay too much. I always think I am going to win stuff for cheap but almost never do. I bet that reel will go for over $300

Re: Line for Hardy Zenith 9' 4wt

Re: Any experience with Orvis Helios / Hardy Sintrix??
