Re: What line for my spare spool?

Re: My Rod/Reel Combination

Re: Trailer Park Fishing

Re: Tactics

I would do exactly what Larry said but from my knees behind that small clup of grass in front of him. I would also take about 10min before I make my first cast to thoroughly scan the water for fish...

Re: Big trout surrounded by little trout: what do you do?

A large trout in the middle of a group like that will be nearly impossible to hook. I would come back in the first hour of light then try with a streamer. I never have had luck with a trout in that...

Re: Strike Indicators or Not

Indicators are most useful for suspending a fly at different depths. Without one it's very difficult to keep your fly at a certain depth while getting a good drift.
I don't limit the different...

Re: Are expensive sunglasses worth the cost?

I have Smith Glasses and I like the copper lens. I don't buy the mirror finish because I think the mirror finish might spook fish, I'm paranoid.

Re: Are expensive sunglasses worth the cost?

I like high quality polarized glasses because I don't get headaches from eye strain. I fish for long periods of time with a cheap pair you get a headache after a while. When I sight fish a good...

Re: trying to conquer what seems near impossible

When fish are grouped up its difficult sometimes impossible to cast near or over them then to try to get them to take a fly. Maybe you should target single fish. I would watch closely to see the...

I would most likely fish it along the weed edges either with and indicator but I think with a long leader maybe with some small weight. After casting I would let it sink to the bottom then I would...

Re: Simms, impressive service and warranty

Simms makes the best waders in my opinion. One of the things that makes it worth paying a lot for waders is the great warranty. Now is 5years a long time for a pair of boots before they wear out?...
