ts47 made a great suggestion on the Orvis Access reel, especially on the sizing. Stepping up another size definitely will pay off when you spool some backing and line onto the reel.

As hmoosek said, I tie mostly for the enjoyment of wrapping a hook. In my case, I'd have to add that I tie for a purpose as well, and that's to help fund the annual tying classes...

The girls have only cleaned up the tying desk/bin stash on two occasions, and within hours, they found out how strong the "nesting urge" is in this critter. I've always been a firm believer...
