Use the same casts as you would for swinging flies. I just slow things down and keep it smooth. With an indie rig there is a lot of stuff to tangle. Think smooth big open loops not tight little...

Egg sucking leech
Strip zonker
Muddler (bead head and not)

I just tie them all different colors and sizes.

My most used sizes are prob 4-8 in fall...

Oh ya no more sore shoulders either. My casting shoulder would be throbing after a day indie fishing with the single hander. Why didnt I try this 15 years ago??? Tight lines everyone!
