burk, the Cabelas MTX rods have the nano technology from 3M in their rods. Have you (or anyone) compared their action and how they cast compared the Hardy and Sage with the 3M technology?

I used the "magic eraser" and it cleaned extremely well. But the grip just seems to be stiff/hard now. The rod has only been used 6 times. Just wondering if there is anything that can be applied to...

Did any of you guys that put in the aluminum cleats have to glue them in? I've been told by a guide that they come out pretty easy and that the "brass" looking star cleat stays in better.
