There really are no major hatches. They're very sporadic. But there is a huge population of chubs and sculpins in the river. That's essentially all they eat. Big nymphs and big streamers always work....

Nymphing rods

So I am looking for a new fly rod specifically for nymphing. The rods I am looking at are the Orvis Access, Orvis H2, and the Sage ESN, all as a 10" 5wt. Does anyone have any experience with these...

I have the 8ft 4wt. GVX.It is my favorite rod. I cant compare it to the others, but it really is a great rod. I use it for all of my dry fly and soft hackle fishing.

So, I was out casting today and the tip section of my BIII-SX snapped in half. I don't know what happened! I must have knicked or dented it at some point. WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHY!!!! :icon_cry:
